We have launched a free 8-week workshop and mentorship programme to address the lack of diversity in the creative industry. In collaboration with award-winning London agency, The Brooklyn Brothers, we have created Night School to help young, creative-minded people, aged 18-25, from ethnic minority backgrounds into the creative industry.

The idea of the programme was in response to the underrepresentation of creative talent from minority backgrounds within the creative industry. Instead of talking about it, we wanted to actually do something to help fix it, and give talent that might otherwise not have the opportunity, the chance to get a foot in the door of the industry.

The programme will cover key skills such as unpacking a brief, copywriting, strategy, design and goes even further by providing guidance on how to present your great ideas with confidence and take it to a wider audience.

Working in the creative and advertising industry means you get to work for one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of brands and choose a role from a broad selection of disciplines. Each day typically brings new challenges (and opportunities) which you’ll enjoy with fun, inspiring and like-minded colleagues. Oh, and you can wear sneakers to work – what’s not to like?

The programme is also a chance to build your creative network. Over the course of the 8 weeks, participants will be mentored by industry players from across the field and will be exposed to a wealth of creative minds specifically chosen to help you make the most of the programme. You'll be mentored by thought-leaders across the creative industry to make sure that when you graduate from Night School, you're equipped with a diverse set of skills and an impressive list of contacts.

After finishing Night School, you will graduate with a personal manifesto that can form the foundation of a modern CV, written recommendations from contributing mentors and partners, unique skill set that will give you a head start in the industry, a graduation ceremony and platform to present your manifesto to industry contacts, media, agencies and recruiters and a personal mentor for the next 12 months!

If this sounds like something you, or someone you know is interested in, then apply here and read through the FAQs for more info.

We can't wait to read your applications - (Applications close on the 7th of June)
