It's time for another launch party!
On saturday the 4th of May come through to Art's Catalyst and turn up with us!
This launch/private viewing is in celebration of our third issue, 'The Conscious Issue' and along with dancing, drinking and snapping in the consious corner photo set, view a collection of works by the stylists and photographers included in issue.
Our third issue explores consciousness through the art of styling. In this edition we speak to 16 stylists on how they navigate consciousness through their art work and what it means to be sensitive to and aware of the contexts in which you create. Themes covered include: environmentalism, fast/slow fashion, gender and sexuality, feminism, home and loads more - all within the theme of styling.
We speak to artists like Jade Adeyemi on the issues that come with our current ‘hypebeast’
culture and the potential dystopian future that could be born from our habits of over-consumption and brand obsessions.
Another featuring stylist, Seyon Amosu speaks to us about gender norms in Nigerian culture and
the rigid relationship between sexuality, gender and clothing in the West African landscape.

Live Mural on the night by Raymond Fielding (Issue 01 Illustrator) 'Conscious corner' - Photo set with ethically sourced props for your very own consious fashion shoot.
The exhibition will be open to the public the day after, Sunday the 5th of May, 12 - 6:00 pm for those who just want to see but aren't quite looking to party.
